Evgeniy Borodin, Russian Snowmobile Guide
Evgeniy Borodin is a Russian snowmobile guide who snowmobiles 3,500-plus miles every season in the spectacular Ural Mountains, introducing snowmobilers to thrilling rides and awesome views, like nowhere else in the world. Evgeniy is a native resident of the Urals in Western Russia, where he and his wife have three children.
In 2012 Evgeniy visited the United States, actively participating in the International Snowmobile Congress, where he build lasting relationships with fellow snowmobilers in North America.
Education and Career
His college degree as a Commercial Activity Organizer landed him in the position of Purchase Manager at the Heart Institute in Perm, Russia. Evgeniy has also worked at a BRP dealer, Deputy Director for Development, and managed a large yacht club.
He served as head of a BRP Fan Club in Russia for years. He is general manager, and a player, in Russia’s NHL – Night Hockey League.
Exclusive Database of Snowmobile Trails in the Urals of Russia
Over the last nine years Evgeniy Borodin has created an exclusive database of snowmobile trails in the Urals, of which he personally rode and mapped every last inch. As a snowmobile guide, he organizes and leads at least 11 group snowmobile tours per season, from relaxed one-day tours, to monster seven-day expeditions. He enjoys working with both novices and experienced riders, catering to the customer’s riding style and needs.
Safety is the first priority for Evgeniy, he is trained in first aid and always has a satellite phone by his side. He is highly organized and has a knack for taking care of anything and everything needed on a trip.
Past tours have ranged from 325 mile, high-speed rips on the Perm-Solikamsk-Perm ride, to the more relaxed ascent of the White Mountain, where he led more than 100 snowmobiles!
Typically his snowmobile tours consist of up to ten riders and last five to seven days.
